Product Overview

A True Online UPS (Untinterruptible Power Supply) provides the ultimate power protection with clean and stable electrical power for critical target loads. It acts as an “electrical firewall” to protect your hardware from damage typically caused by power surges and spikes. A true online UPS isolates equipment from commercial input power source to stabilize line voltage conditions, frequency regulation and provides uninterruptible power in the event of a power failure.

This is ideal for environments where electrical isolation is necessary, such as if your equipment is very sensitive to power fluctuations or to keep the equipment operational long enough for critical equipment to shut down properly or until a generator comes online.

True Galvanic Isolation design:

The true galvanic isolation on the output of each UPS isolates the AC output under every mode of operation to solve the problem of poor input grounding and to stop any current leakage through the ground.

Multi-CPU design and software/hardware cooperate control:

Several CPUs are employed in the control circuit with critical functions that are designed to parallel redundancy to improve reliability.

Redundant power supply:

An extra, redundant power supply is connected to supply power of the static switch to ensure an AC output no matter what happens to the UPS.

Plug & play modular design:

The power circuit of the UPS features a modular design, which allows for each power circuit to be easily removed for quick maintenance and troubleshooting.

Each phase with individual inverter supporting:

Characteristics will not be violated under 100% unbalanced load.

Protection against detaching and floating of neutral of input power supply:

MOV (surge protector) is added at the input to provide sufficient protection to both UPS and load from lightning or power surges caused by neighboring large loads.

UPS is designed with breaker on/off sensor, power supply sensor etc. to protect the UPS from any operational mistake made by the user.

Intelligent charger with temperature compensation:

Huge charging power (selectable):

The charge power is selectable (Low/Medium/High) according to the Ah of the battery and can charge up the battery for more than 8 hours of back-up time without an extra charger.

Intelligent, safe battery test circuitry:

Battery is tested after every boost charge of battery (either initiated by battery discharge or after one month elapsed) without stopping the rectifier. It prevents the risk of output AC failure in case the battery is in bad condition and can notify the user of battery’s condition.

Intelligent fan speed control:

Fans will slow down during light load to extend the fans’ life expectancy and to extend the MTBF of fans.

DC start function:

The UPS can be start up with its batteries without an AC power source connected thanks to the special current limit circuitry that protects the UPS from high in rush currents associated with DC battery connections on a dry DC bus.

Various interface options:

Remote control panel, 3 phases software for PC monitoring, auto dialing module, battery monitoring module, 3 phases SNMP card, and emergent stop switch are available.

12-Pulse full controlled rectified (option):

Our 120kVA and above UPS feature 12-pulse full controlled rectified to further improve the power factor and reduce harmonic current drawn by the rectifier. Total harmonic current can be reduced by 10% and power factor is improved to over 0.8.

Parallel operation (optional)

To increase the capacity and reliability by equally sharing the load across parallel units. When one unit has problem, the other units can continue running without output interruption. No site adjustments required.

Options

UPSCAN – Remote control panel

A handheld display module with LCD and LED that can monitor 1 – 99 UPS with RS-485 connected in series from distance < 1,000m.

 

UPSCOM – PC monitoring software

Provides real-time three phases information of UPS connected on the line and monitor several UPS with one PC.

 

DCMAN – Battery monitoring module

An intelligent module to keep watch of each battery in a battery bank connected in series and to distinguish and repair aged battery before it gets seriously worn out.

 

SNMP/HTTP

Can monitor and manage the UPS through web browser and Java applet, providing simultaneous three phase data acquisition.

 

Emergency stop switch

In case of hazards, such as electrical shock or fire, the UPS can be shutdown (no AC output) either through a switch (can be added upon request) or through a smoke detector signal (can be added upon request) to prevent further injuries or destruction.

Features & Advantages

LCD Control Panel

AHA-H/HR Series built-in intelligent two-way dialogue interactive dot-matrix LCD control panel provides monitoring as well as management access to the UPS. Detachable design enables remote control and status monitoring to suit users’ convenience. An economical and plain LED display with the same size as LCD panel is selectable.

Tower and Rack Models

Tower and rack models are both available. Tower models work to minimize occupied space while rack mount models can fit in the equipment rack to ensure server room is neat and clean. Rack mount model UPS come with the same size battery back that matches the UPS.

6KVA-20KVA N+1 Parallel Redundancy

6KVA-20KVA is specially designed to provide redundant power protection solution that’s able to perform up to 3 parallel UPS systems. With high frequency PWM technology, the UPS attains high input power factor over 95% and avoids significant harmonic interference on the power workshop.

Multiple interface cards

With a multi-interface slot and an additional multi-interface card, users can now select various communications combination, including RS232, SNMP, RS485, AS-400, modbus, USB, dry contact and customized interfaces. All interfaces are enabled at the same time.
